We’re Celebrating Chocolate this May
A month of old classics, limited editions and reimagined favourites, come indulge in and celebrate all things chocolate with us!
Bakeries work in Seasons, mixing up our regular, core products with specials when days like Easter, Valentines, Halloween and Christmas roll around. In Summer we have the best Fife strawberries, in Autumn there’s apples, but May felt a little quiet to us. Our Bakery and Confectionery teams have been busy creating a new range to shine a light on a flavour and ingredient we’d be lost without: chocolate.
Old Favourites
With the country’s largest range of cakes, we have a fair few chocolate goodies already that you know and love. From Chocolate Eclairs to Chocolate Cream Towers, Tiffin and Millionaire’s to Chocolate Dipped Shortbread and our famous Belgian Hot Chocolate, we have plenty of chocolate products to shout about. You have loved them for years, they remain unchanged, and we’ll be making sure to shine a light on them this month. We’re also bringing back an old favourite, our Pain Au Chocolat, exactly how you’ll remember it from years gone by. A bakery classic!

New Creations
To complement our many old favourites, we’ve also baked up some brand new specials, here for a limited time only. Make sure you pop in during May to try our new delights. We’ve got Deluxe Chocolate Doughnuts (crammed full with the confectioner’s custard you love!), a Chocolate Belgian Biscuit and Chocolate French Cake. We hope you love them as much as we did creating and perfecting them over the past few months. It’s a tough job but someone has to do it!
Reimagined Classics
As well as our old favourites and new treats, we’ve improved and recreated a few existing products, ensuring they’re better than ever! Expect our best ever Deluxe Chocolate Yum Yum, a new Chocolate Cupcake and an indulgent Belgian Chocolate Crispy Cake that’s made without gluten.
Good Things Can Last Forever
Some of our chocolate creations are limited edition for the month of May only, so you’ve been warned! If something tickles your fancy, please pop in and give it a try as it might not be back again until next year. For the most popular products, you might just be lucky, we’re thinking that some of them might stick around a little longer. Watch this space!

It’s been a busy month of testing, tweaking and perfecting our chocolate range, so our team have had a lot of chances to try our new cakes. Here’s what they’ve enjoyed most and have been sneaking home at the end of their shifts:

Our Chocolate Season runs all of May — don’t miss out!
Every single one of our chocolate creations is available in store (St Andrews, Cupar and Dundee) right now, but some won’t be around for long. Whether you’re after an old favourite or want to be one of the first to try something brand new, we’d love to see you in store. Pop into your nearest F&D this May and treat yourself – you deserve it.
