We can't quite believe it's December already and we are counting down the days till we get to say goodbye to 2020. It's been the hardest of years, and although it's made us grateful for so much, including our wonderful staff and loyal customers, we're certainly ready for 2021!
Christmas at Fisher & Donaldson means some closure days and a pause in our online shop. Read on to find out when and how you can shop with us over the festive period...
Shop closures: To give all of our staff a well-deserved break, all of our shops will be closed for 3 days at Christmas and New Year.
Christmas Eve: Open as usual (Crossgate & Whitehall St. cafes closed)
Christmas Day: closed
Boxing Day: closed
Sun 27th December: closed
Mon 28th December - Thu 31st December: open as usual
Fri 1 January: closed
Sat 2nd January: closed
Sun 3rd January: closed
Mon 4th January: open as usual
Tier 4 update: All of our cafes will remain closed after Christmas Eve until government guidelines allow us to re-open. Our shops and online store will continue as normal.
Christmas pre-ordering: We can take pre-orders for Christmas in store, over the phone or via email. Some Christmas items are also available for local delivery from our online shop. Pre-orders can be collected or delivered locally up till Christmas Eve, although we advise earlier collection to avoid queueing - due to social distancing we cannot accommodate many people in our shops at one time, so collect ahead of the big day to avoid waiting in the cold!
Christmas postal orders: If you'd like to send some F&D goodies to someone via post, we can ship orders via Fedex delivery. Last order dates for guaranteed UK Christmas delivery is Tue 15th December.

Online shop closures: Our online shop will be closed for deliveries from Fri 25th - Mon 28th December and Fri 1st - Mon 4th January. We will have limited delivery slots on Christmas Eve and Hogmanay. Christmas Eve delivery will be £10.
Christmas family days: We have a few Christmas family days coming up at our Garden Cafe in Cupar. Sat 12th, Sun 13th, Sat 19th and Sun 20th December, 10am - 3pm. Decorate a Christmas biscuit, enjoy a Christmas scavenger hunt and enter our Christmas colouring competition! Biscuit decorating is £2 whilst all other activities are free for cafe customers. Tier 3 covid guidance must be followed - customers only from tier 3 and no more than 2 households of 6 people per table. Find out more on our Facebook page.
