Baked with love, drawn with joy: our collaboration with Lauren Morsley
We’ve always believed that baking is about more than what’s on the plate – it’s about the joy, the colour, and the stories that come with it. So when we discovered Lauren Morsley’s work, it felt like a very natural match to bring our cakes to life.
Lauren is an illustrator printmaker, and graduate of Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design, part of the University of Dundee. Her work is bold, colourful, and full of life – populated by wiggly-armed, long-legged characters who feel like they’ve just wandered in from some wonderfully strange and delicious world. We just knew as soon as we saw her creations, there was scope for some tasty F&D inspired delights!
When we approached Lauren to discuss working on a collaboration, she looked to our bakes for inspiration – the colours, the textures, the sheer cheerfulness of a well-iced cake. From that starting point, she created an exclusive range of Fisher & Donaldson merchandise that brings a host of cake-inspired characters to life.

It’s a chance to see the work in person, take something special home, and share in a little bit of the joy that’s kept us baking for over a century.
